# INKDLU

> Lu is a Chicago-based tattoo artist. The Guest spots page contains a guest-spot interest form that collects interest to help Lu plan future trips. It is not a booking system and promises neither an appointment nor a reply.

## Guest spots outside Chicago

- [Guest spots](https://www.inkdlu.com/guest-spots): People can share their city, name, and email and/or Instagram. At least one contact channel is required; both are accepted. Instagram is highly preferred and selected by default. This form collects contact and location details only. Tattoo ideas belong on a specific trip’s waitlist.
- [City link example](https://www.inkdlu.com/guest-spots?city=New%20York%2C%20NY): The city query prefills the form. Visitors can change it. Every city remains as entered; cities are not reassigned to a major hub.

Interest may help Lu decide where to guest spot. A submission is only a signal of interest to help Lu decide where he could travel someday. It is not a waiting list, acceptance, reservation, confirmed trip or promise that Lu will contact the person. If Lu chooses to follow up, he contacts them personally. Lu only ever contacts people from @inkdlu or inkdlu@gmail.com. There is no automatic email or messaging flow. An assistant can explain the form or help someone complete it with that person's permission. Uploaded images and contact details are private.

## Chicago and regular bookings

- [Instagram DM](https://ig.me/m/inkdlu): DM @inkdlu to book in Chicago. Cities within approximately 100 miles of Chicago are directed to DM for regular bookings instead of submitting this guest-spot form.
- [Booking information](https://www.inkdlu.com/booking): Lu's regular booking information.
- [Portfolio](https://www.inkdlu.com/work): Lu's tattoo work.
- [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/inkdlu/): Lu's profile.

## Upcoming guest spots

Upcoming trips appear on the Guest spots page when published by Lu. The form still only records interest; it does not reserve a place on a trip. An empty trip list displays “No trips planned yet.”

## Waitlist for each trip

Each upcoming trip shows its dates, location and “Bookings open” or “Bookings closed” status. “Join waitlist” opens the form for that specific trip. Closed trips stay visible and do not accept new requests.

- [Trip waitlists](https://www.inkdlu.com/waitlist): Choose a trip, leave your name and contact details, and select Flash or Custom for each tattoo idea. Flash requests identify the flash design without custom design questions. Custom requests include the design, size in inches and placement, with optional private images and reference links. Include your budget and all days you are available within the trip dates.

Joining a trip waitlist does not reserve an appointment or guarantee a reply. Contact details and images remain private. Lu may contact the person if the idea fits the trip.

Upcoming guest spots are shown first. The direct interest-form link is https://www.inkdlu.com/guest-spots#interest. A city link may use /guest-spots?city=Boston%2C%20MA#interest.
